February 2009 sees the launch of Talend Solutions UK, the country's first dedicated centre supporting the premier Open Source data integration suite of products from Talend.

With a team of experienced data analysts and system integrators, the team have set about bringing data integration technologies to all types and sizes of organisations.

Talend Solutions UK signs CRM ETL Deal

Talend Solutions UK has put pen to paper on an exclusive agreement to provide data migration and integration facilities for The Sugar Refinery Ltd., a SugarCRM Systems Integration and Customisation specialist.

With many of their customers transferring to SugarCRM from competitor products, the developers at the Sugar Refinery needed the capability to quickly and efficiently migrate existing customer data from a variety of sources including spreadsheets, Microsoft CRM, SalesForce, Sage ACT, Goldmine etc. into the SugarCRM data structure, which, itself, can be located on a variety of target databases (MySQL, SQL Server or Oracle).

The Talend Solutions UK team are able to leverage the extensive connectivity of the Open Studio product to extract, transform and subsequently load the legacy data with no loss of valuable customer information.

Additionally, Talend Solutions UK is able to enhance the SugarCRM instillations by providing the capability of integrating the customer and sales data with existing back-office applications.
